Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Council 4 seems to be more of the same for fans who have enjoyed the Ninja Council series, and for those looking to delve into the new Shippuden storyline, this is also a chance to see what Naruto and the gang are up to. Ninja Council 4 is set to be released on May 26".
When a game looks as great as Naruto, it's a shame that the gameplay doesn't even contain one tenth the level of polish. The oddly mapped controls mixed with the choices made in game, such as losing a throwing weapon when you are hit or having enemies stand completely still until you attempt to attack, really detract from what potentially could've been an excellent title. Because the game is so unsatisfying to play, if you have a fan of this brand, try renting it before you buy it. If you're not a fan, than you might want to skip it.
N-Philes writes: "Let me state this at the outset: I don't like Naruto. I don't like the TV series, the movies, the manga or the fanart. But this review isn't for me to harp on the franchise in general; it's about Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Council 4 for the Nintendo DS. Suffice to say, I did not go into this game with high expectations."
