Back in January NetDevil announced Warmonger, a first-person shooter using Unreal Engine 3 and AGEIA PhysX stuff. Now, the Auto Assault dev has released first screenshots from the game. Check them out and see what you think.
WorthPlaying writes : "Nvidia has released new graphics drivers that will allow owners of most GeForce 8, GeForce 9, and GeForce GTX 200-series cards to automatically use PhysX acceleration. Along with the drivers will come a PhysX software pack containing free UT 3 maps, the full version of NetDevil's Warmonger, a couple of Nvidia demos, and sneak peeks at Object Software's Metal Knight Zero and Nurien Software's Nurien social-networking service."
A free update? boy oh boy, thats really good considering the huge amount of money i paid for the last 40 or so Nvidia driver updates
oh wait ...
Anyone be kind enough to provide the direct link for the drivers?
The one in the article brings me to a 'page not found' on NVidia's website, and (similar to bourner's situation above me), the site claims that the latest driver available for my 8800GTS is dated late June (version 175.xx). o_O
The link on their own website ( http://www.nvidia.com/objec... doesn't work. What gives?
HEXUS.gaming take a look at NetDevil's 'revolutioanry' free Unreal Engine 3-powered first person shooter.
"Warmonger from NetDevil, breaks the mould. It's a 437Mb download for a game that is so poor that I'm actually resenting using my time downloading it, even though I was off doing something else at the time..."
If you find yourself with nothing to play this holiday season, which you really shouldn't considering how many high quality games have come out in the last few months, you might stumble upon a downloadable game with the unfortunate name of Warmonger: Operation Downtown Destruction. It's a simple arena FPS with five very similar maps, a handful of weapons, and is more tech demo than game. The only thing particularly interesting aspect of it is the ability to blow apart walls with grenades and rockets.
it should be a cool homebrew for the psp but i wasnt excited about what i saw from the pc version. nad i know it wont look like this on psp so no one say anything stupid
