Gamespot Reports - Nielsen research indicates Microsoft's and Sony's consoles cutting into television-watching hours; female gamers aged 25-plus are the largest PC gaming block.
"The media research firm noted that girl gamers aged 25 and older comprise the largest PC game-playing block. Nielsen's survey found that the demographic amounted to 46.2 percent of all PC gamers, with females aged 25-plus accruing 54.6 percent of all metered game play minutes during December 2008." wow . wonder if primetime will get on xbox live soon that would be fun.
I don't remember the last time I watch primetime television.
First off, games are getting better all the time Second, for many of us, time in the day is short, so we game as much as we can, whenever we can. Third, primetime television has been pushing out a lot of lame shows so TV isn't as appealing as it was a even a few years ago. If the shows here better, then TV wouldn't be losing their audience so quickly. But this is all just my opinion. No facts
I'm certain the ability to watch primetime shows, both legally and illegally, online has been a bigger overall problem for TV.
There is never anything on. I only watch football which is on normal free channels.
I watch Family Guy, and pretty much all my "TV" off Hulu.com. Heck, I don't even need a PC, but I do use it for torrents.
to my first comment ,not to confuse anyone i was just talking about the 1 vs 100 on prime time thing.
