I am very interested in this game so i am going to say that they are fake...even though deep down inside me something tells me they are real. I sure hope they are not. Those look like Frontlines Fuel of War graphics...not that bad but not up to par with what graphics should look like at this point in the race.

So having 256 players online means that you can't put any effort into the graphics? I wish people would stop making excuses for shoddy graphics. It's like when Resistance 2 got excused for having "scale". NONE of the battles in the main campaign are much bigger than those in CoD4 or KZ2 yet the game looks like crap. There were many things wrong in those screenshots and when we're used to KZ2-level graphics a game that comes out looking like that after years of development just looks bad. There's no reason it can't look great. If MAG is an online-only shooter with poor graphics and no split-screen (or other features), I'm giving it a miss and the 100 odd people who buy it can enjoy their 256-player... oh no they can't.

wtf are you talking about thor? first off all the graphics on these screens look impressive. Second off all this is a 256 player open world game. Guess what, open world games take more resources so they cant have the same graphical level. And guess what, the more players you put in there the more resources its going to take. So 256 player open world game means alot less processing power left for the graphics then in your average KZ2/COD4 whatever. And ye, thats not an excuse thats a fact, suck it up.

How can they say the screens of MAG look bloody awesome? They looked horrible. Sure its 256 players, but how is that going to be fun? I mean its not going to be any different than 8v8 or 16v16. You probably wont even see that many people during the game.

There is no benchmark for graphics in this kind of game on a console because nobody has done 256 players yet this generation.
This is the first one, and seeing as it's on the PS3, people have a lot to say. Just leave them be.
