WTP Review: Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars (Wii)

Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars is a "point and click" adventure game for the Wii, and is an updated and slightly modified (the game now features character art by Watchmen artist Dave Gibbons in this enhanced "Director's Cut") version of a game that was first released on the PC in 1996. Unlike most contemporary adventure game titles, "point and click" games do not give the player direct control of the central character, but instead have them interacting with objects in the environment and directing the characters to move around the scenery. In some ways, Broken Sword has a lot in common with Nintendo's popular DS game, Professor Layton & The Curious Village. All of the interaction in the game is performed with an on-screen pointer controlled with the Wii remote.
