Toronto Sun Review: Fallout 3: The Pitt

The Pitt expands the massive post-apocalyptic game world of Fallout 3 with a new chunk of geography -- the hellish ruins of Pittsburgh, aka "the Pitt" -- and sends players on a mission to ultimately save or condemn the city's enslaved population. It's available now as a download from Xbox Live, for a cost of 800 Microsoft points (about $13).

Unlike the previous Fallout 3 downloadable chapter Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt doesn't take place in an oddball computer simulation. Players will march into the grim, industrial cityscape with their current Fallout 3 characters, albeit conveniently stripped of all their hard-earned weapons and gear for the majority of the add-on's four-hour length.
