Line Rider Is Going Mobile

inXile entertainment and mobile game publisher In-Fusio announced today an agreement for the development and distribution of a new mobile version of the hugely addictive, hit internet game Line Rider. Anticipated for worldwide release in September 2007, Line Rider Mobile will allow mobile players to share their Line Rider tracks on, alongside tracks from the PC and Nintendo versions of the game. Players will also have the capability to instantly share their tracks by sending them wirelessly to other handsets. Boštjan Cadež, the creator of Line Rider recently won a Game Developers Choice Award for Innovation for his work on Line Rider. The Game Developers Choice Awards are the premier accolades for peer-recognition in the digital games industry, celebrating creativity, artistry and technological genius. The award was given at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco on March 6, 2007, the biggest international event in game creation.
