Power Glove granted infinitely more power, bluetooth, and accelerometer in honor of 20th birthday

Engadget writes: "This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Nintendo PowerGlove, and yes, birthday cakes are in order. To celebrate, game designer Matt Mechtley has augmented it with Bluetooth and accelerometer chips for a more modern take on the hand peripheral -- think of it as a more assimilated version of the Wiimote-embedded glove we covered in 2006."

It didnt work for every game but there were a few that it worked great on. I can see the next Wii using duel power gloves.

idk if anyone else watches the "angry video game nerd" and his videos, but they are funny as hell. he essentially reviews bad games, peripherals, systems etc. and rips into them. he did it with the power glove, too.

i recommend watching his videos if you're looking for a good laugh.

off topic i know, and i apologize for that, this just brought avgn's review of the power glove to my attention.

cool build... but i would have rather watched it at full frame speed... apparently the vimeo player sucks on mac. why can't this dude upload his vids on youtube like everyone else?
