Electronic Theatre In-depth Review: Fenimore Fillmore's Revenge

As the game progresses, the player switches roles back-and-forth between male and female protagonists. As each, encounters with other characters are regular and most are very well portrayed. The strong characterisation presented from the cartoon visuals is doubled by the impact of the well-pitched script, and the reliance on clichés is simply a product of the grin-inducing humour that the later stages of the game produce. While far from being a competitor to the Sam & Max thrown, Fenimore Fillmore's Revenge will raise more smiles through its quips than it does tempers with its occasionally misrepresented puzzles.
