IGN writes: "It's always tricky whenever a developer tackles a beloved property, and I'd imagine that the folks at TellTale may have been a bit nervous developing an episodic series based on Wallace & Gromit, the beloved clay characters from British animator studio Aardman. Wallace & Gromit are, after all, cultural treasures, as well as the subject of several Academy Award-winning movies. Yet if there was ever a property that translated to episodic gaming well, this is it. TellTale has hit it out of the park, capturing the look and the charm of Wallace & Gromit and essentially giving us an interactive short film the likes of which Aardman is known for. It's not perfect, mind you, but it is a very satisfying first step."
GamerZines: Telltale Games' Dan Connors has revealed that his company makes nearly 40% of its revenue from the various console platforms, proving that it's worth porting the likes of Sam & Max and Monkey Island to the PS3, 360 and Wii.
"We generally launch with one console partner during the run of the season, and usually does about 40 per cent of the revenue," Explained the CEO in a recent interview.
I love Sam and Max. I got the PC version but I caved in and also bought the PS3 version.
Following Sony's announcements of the April Foolishness Sale and PSP Favourites promotion earlier this week, Microsoft has today revealed a cost-cutting activity of their own. From today, eight top titles held on the Xbox 360's Xbox LIVE Arcade are available for half-price, and two further titles are set to be greatly reduced. These sale prices are limited however, available for only seven days.
... and nothing on that list really interests me. Bit of a disappointment.

Trials HD is continually one of the best selling arcade titles week after week, i wouldn't imagine they would offer it on sale if they didnt need to
Well, I'm partly glad they actually didn't lessen the prices of XBLA games I've been wanting for a while because I didn't take my 360 away with me over this week.
...it's not "inventory", if it's only available as a digital download. Just sayin'....

Even better, the releases begin today (February 11, 2010) with Tales of Monkey Island."
Games can also vote on the next Telltale series style game to be release in March for Mac.
