Its hard to tell because of all the effects but it probably is a upgraded version of their last engine.
Theres a teddy bear there too?
*Prays for COD:MW2 zombies*

i think terrorist attacks are going to play a big part in this game. remember from cod4

After the credits roll, a special epilogue mission is unlocked for play, featuring an anonymous four-man squad of SAS troops retrieving a VIP from terrorists who have hijacked an airliner. The SAS rescue the VIP and escape before the plane is destroyed. "wiki"

The Call of Duty franchise has been using the same engine since CoD1. It's based on the old Quake 3 engine, but IW have obviously since overhauled the graphic renderers.

I doubt MW2 will look much different to CoD4, I expect to see more optimisation though

I can't quite make out the first word but around 33 seconds they are saying "XXXXXX проверки безопасности", which is telling someone to "check security".

ambientFLIER5660d ago (Edited 5660d ago )

The first word is "Poonkt" which means "station" in russian. It basically means "Safety Checkpoint" translated to english.

Большое спасибо.

LAME, they were not even able to find someone that understands Russian, so they ignored that part.
What is even more lamer is that after first guy speaks in Russian, the other guy says in English "Remember...NO Russian", not "Remember the Russian" like these fools wrote in this "article"

Post updated. Thanks for the help (or скулящий)

Maxned5660d ago

Look at the part where they analyse the perks! See the winged foot?
Thats either extreme conditioning or you sprint faster or something

OOG5660d ago (Edited 5660d ago )

when the elevator opens you fergot or didnt notice that after they talk about the bags and the elevator door opens she says

"something" flight 275 in now changed

And the 2 guys in front of the person are with him because when he is talking it is the guy on the left that turns his head to listen when he says "Listen no russian"......most likely some sort of terrorists since they are in plain clothing when arming their guns.

Im assuming the Teddy Bear is something from the nuclear explosion in the first game or... maybe during this game... probably is there to show a war torn city/town/village whatever....collateral damage...

It seems to be an airport... especially since the symbols you showed have an airplane in the middle of it....

* This all comes to the conclusion that I think we might have some SWAT stuff in this game along with the normal war stuff.

I think the two swords represent dual wield pistols!!!!!!!!!! This game #1 on my list this year, followed by U2: AT.

Nintendo Accused of 'Bullying' in Weak Patent Dispute Over Palworld

The article discusses a claim by an intellectual property (IP) expert that Nintendo likely does not hold patents strong enough to prevent the game developer Pocketpair from creating Palworld, a game that some believe resembles Pokémon. The expert suggests that Nintendo's legal challenges against Palworld could amount to nothing more than corporate bullying, as the patents Nintendo might be relying on are not robust enough to stand up to legal scrutiny. The situation could be seen as an example of a large corporation trying to exert undue influence over a smaller competitor.

Crazy how far they are willing to go over nothing rather than tell Game Freak to get their shit together and sort the quality of the mainline games out.

Personally I'd drop the two game bullshit, make a full on complete game, and take their time making the best game they can without relying on a silly battle gimmick they'll ditch after one game. Gimmicks out of battle is what they should be focusing on, beauty contests, berry making, secret bases, the underground, Seasons, events during day / night and post game content like travelling to a new location or something.

porkChop23h ago

That's the thing, this is why we're now seeing more serious competitors in the genre. Game Freak has just been coasting by, doing the bare minimum in innovation for the last 20+ years. They need to get with the times. Hire more devs, give more dev time to foster creativity, etc. But now that they can't get away with that bare minimum they're trying to sue their competitors out of existence. It's disgusting.

gold_drake18h ago

been saying this since sun and moon.

gamefreak just isnt used to, still isnt used to, the console market. they did well on the handheld space but as a complete 3d developer z they fail miserable

the last two pkmn gens look like gamecube games. not to mention the bugs at launch.

but uve seen the ridiculous anount of copies sold at launch too.

Profchaos2h ago(Edited 2h ago)

Realistically though palworld Pokemon with guns featured so many themes and concepts that Nintendont
There's no way they would make a game where you could use realistic weapons or have pals slaving away.

They're not the same genre at all they just feature similar characters

posting articles from msn.com now seriously?

MaximusPrime_20h ago

The article is actually Gamesradar's. MSN just used their page like a URL shortened link.

It's straight up bullying with mooney and using the government laws as a tool to do so. They should be fined.

Distant Bloom review - ChristCenteredGamer

CCG writes - "Distant Bloom is a cute game with good lesson about caring for the environment. I like how it has a Little Buddy mode where a another player (ideally much younger) can take control of Kei.Ki’s robotic companion. This title is family friendly and the only moral concern is that the planet they're on is inhabited by a deity-like being. After the credits roll, there are some "after story" missions available to complete. The asking price of $19.99 is reasonable and worth adding to your Wishlist to pick it up on sale. "
