Most Underappreciated Xbox 360 Exclusive

Andrew Weymes of The Nightly Gamer writes: "Seeing as Microsoft is a North American based company, it's no surprise that the most popular Xbox 360 exclusives are geared towards a North American audience. Games like Gears of War 2, Halo 3 and Mass Effect are Xbox 360 exclusives that get all of the praise that they deserve. However, there are a few games that have gone unappreciated either because of the genre they're in or the lack of marketing. Many games were considered for this title but TNG has narrowed it down to a select few with only one coming out on top as the most underappreciated Xbox 360 exclusive."

Viva Pinata 1 or 2

As for Lost Oddessy, I just bought it and haven`t played it yet (i`ve been playing Mass Effect) so I`ll find out soon.

MrWeymes5507d ago

No, it's not a blog. My site design is quite rough, though. I had never designed a website before. It's a little difficult for me. I should mention that I am always looking for new writers on TNG. It's only myself that writes at the moment.

I've never liked RPG's. I played FFVII because it was hyped and a tech achievement for the PS1. I played FFX for exactly the same reason. Didn't finish either one. I hate turn based systems.

Then I played Fable. And then I played Mass Effect. Both examples of the direction that RPG should be heading toward - more organic, more seamless, more worldly. Just because we're playing games doesn't mean they should feel like games.

Having said that, I love the visual style of LO (especially the White Rabbit ad) and I've thought about picking it up several times, but at this point, it would feel like I'm moving backwards through game evolution. And I know I wouldn't finish it.

CRACKDOWN!!!!! it is quality.

also I wont like LO as the only turn based game I ever liked was FF7.

I don't like jrpg's but everybody keeps on telling me how good LO is and to definitely to try it. I'm given in. I'm going to buy it tomorrow.

Then you probably won't like this one either. I doubt there will be anything in this game that will change your mind. But, who knows, maybe it will.

MrWeymes5507d ago

Yes, I don't think you will like Lost Odyssey if you don't like JRPGs in general. It's very traditional and difficult at times as well. It's a game for fans of the traditional turn based RPGs of old in my opinion.

Best RPG so far this gen is still Lost Odyssey, i love this game.

I was also addicted in Too Human. The coop was so FUKING fun. too bad the game was so fast over. I got a feeling like in Diablo.. killing monsters to get better items, thats also the system in world of warcraft^^

The idea in Too Human was really good, great weapons (elite, legendary and so on) but it took to short to play the story. After about 60 hours played i had 900g 3 chars on max lvl and 1 char with best equip.

Too_Hyped5508d ago (Edited 5508d ago )

I disagree with you and I agree with the Meta ratings. Best JRPG this gen is Valkyria Chronicles on PS3.

Remembering Medal Of Honor: The Forgotten Master Of WW2 Games

Ibrahim from eXputer: "The Medal of Honor franchise was once the crown jewel of FPS war games, later defeated by the tides of time and poor development."

They tried to turn it into Call of Duty and it killed it off. They should reboot it and go back to it's roots. But they'd ruin it with online-only/multiplayer style bullshit so why bother? I have very fond memories of these games, but this series can stay dead as far as I'm concerned.

Was literally just thinking of this game the other week with the secret nut cracker mission and the shooting Bismarck dog lmao. Loved these games as a kid

I wish they’d remake warfighter

Strictly for the campaign

I have fond memories of playing the Medal of Honor Breakthrough MP Demo. It had two maps and custom servers. Living on campus, I had it downloaded on one of the PC Lab servers so I could access it on any computer at the university. Joined a clan and made friends that I still keep in touch with today.
