Didn't this game have a crazy high pirate rate?

SirLarr5567d ago

It did, but every PC game does. The point here is that it wasn't pirated any more than other, DRM'd PC games.

A pirated copy != a sale.

Despite piracy, companies that support their product after sales (looking at you Crytek who stopped patching Crysis almost immediately) generally don't get hammered by piracy as much. Stardock and Valve as two prime examples.

You're damned right it's unnecessary, and a giant pain in the ass.

Good on ya, Ron Carmel.

P.S. Mr. Carmel, your last name makes me hungry.

World of Goo was so awesome God why isn't it on PSN/XBL???

TheIneffableBob5566d ago

The way it's controlled would not suit analog sticks well.

DRM crippled the launch of Football Manager 2009 too. A high number of people couldn't play it for 48 hours. In no way is it the way forward.
