Firemint, the developers behind the air traffic control simulator Flight Control, have released a new video and screenshots of its upcoming 3D racing title, Firemint Real Racing. The game has entered its final stages of development, and is prepped for an April release.
Firemint Real Racing aims to provide a high-quality racing experience with an emphasis on social networking functionality. Firemint founder Robert Murray promises that the title will feature "instant uploads of players' best laps to YouTube, recurring global tournaments and enabling the use of existing social media networks to allow friends to compare performances."
Gameplay-wise, Firemint Real Racing includes 36 cars, 12 tracks, four gameplay modes, and multiple difficulty levels and challenges. The title promises a variety of control options and selectable camera angles as well. The latest batch of screenshots and an official trailer can be seen below.
