Microsoft has announced that Internet Explorer 8 has been released and can be downloaded now for Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, and Windows Server 2008.
I give this a try but i'm still sticking with Chrome.
I have not used IE for around 2 or 3 years, firefox suits me just fine.
FF rules all browsers.
I haven't tried it yet I am still reading the Terms of Service agreement...
this got released a few hours ago. I already downloaded it. Websites load a little faster. The address bar though takes some time getting use to.
i just downloaded crome last night cuz my internet explorer was crashing consistantly,so i dunno if i wanna download a upgraded failure waiting to happen. does anyone know if there is a firefox that will work with VISTA 64bit? cuz ive tried downloading it plenty of times and it wont allow me into the web browser.
I'm using Firefox with Vista64 right now. Haven't had any issues. Sorry friend, not sure what to tell ya.
Firefox is compatible with most modern OSs (e.g. Xp, Vista, Mac, Linux, ect...) regardless of whether they are 32 bit or 64 bit. I don't know how you manage to screw it up, if you can, take note of why it fails (e.g. error messages) and google it. It's pretty damn easy to install and use.
Was frickin TERRIBLE... But it was indeed the beta, so I might as well give 'er a go.
Downloading now... I'm sticking with Firefox for now. I'm going into this with high expectations.
Well, it is a lot faster than 7 but still not as fast as firefox...
Chrome 4 Life
How does this compare to RC1?
Cant see what im typing the text is like .1 pa pages load fast though
just to tell you guys at the moment safari 4 is faster . :)
I never use IE. thank you very much, there's no way this one is better than FF anyway.
well looks like now i have to stay on chrom for anything related to flash cause installing the vista 64 bit version of the install will remove your 32 bit explorer but its all adobes fault. why havnt they upgraded there flash to work on 64 bit
why havnt adobe made a 64bit flash player cuz i like my IE 64bit better then the 32bit but i cant play any videos or if i want to watch it in HD i cant cuz adobe is lazy.
Fiefox its my choice. So, I'm stick with.
Hmmm! My IE 7 just stopped working today on Vista. It says Internet explorer has stopped working please wait yadadada! I do have firefox though and chrome. Can I download IE 8 from firefox then install the IE 8 over my broken 7?
The customization is just unbeatable. As is the speed and security. Sorry IE. You stink. If IE still uses active x control. Its useless.
Googlel Chrome is the browser for me. I'll use IE8 if i get any compatibility issues on Chrome.
