GameZone: Vin Diesel Talks The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, the Movie's Future and More

GameZone writes: "It's not every day that a game is more revered than the movie it was based on. But ask anyone who's played The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay what their favorite part of the Riddick franchise is and they will almost always respond, "The video game."

That's good news for Vin Diesel, who has been drawn to Riddick's world, story and characters from the beginning. "With characters that are that personal, there are a lot of reasons why you go back to playing them," says the actor. "Sometimes you just don't know why you gravitate toward a character. Why you feel compelled to revisit him and continue the story. But there is clearly something that is very dear to me about Riddick that compels me to further explore the character and the realm he lives in."

Tenchu: SA on PSOne comes to mind.
MGS is great but Tenchu is ops it in my book.

Tenchu! NICE! Wow, I haven't seen anyone mention Tenchu in such a long time. Really, they're my favorite stealth games from back in the day. Ayame or Rikimaru?

miyamoto2948d ago (Edited 2948d ago )

That's a toughie

but seriously

It's either between Proto-Rikimaru
https://www.youtube.com/wat...

or Manji Cult
https://www.youtube.com/wat...

Nothing beats the original that won Shuhei Yoshida's heart.

Odoylerules0002948d ago

@miyamoto Okay, my mind is officially blown. First, at how gutter the first Tenchu test footage is(that jump sound effect..), and second...Wow! I had no idea that was motion capture. I immediately knew what I was looking at when he started moving, though. Incredible. Thanks a lot for showing me those, I had no idea those videos existed.

What about the one that was so stealthy, no one played it at all because nobody knew it was there?!

I'm actually having some fun with Shadows of Mordor and sneaking around the orcs and uruks
