TouchArcade: 'Rasta Monkey' Impressions and Video

TouchArcade writes: "Nitako's Rasta Monkey [App Store] arrived in the App Store early this morning and we've since had a chance to sit down and play this interesting iPhone title.

The game is a 2D platformer in which you play a Rastafarian monkey. Your job is to swing through the branches to collect fruit and navigate obstacles. You control your monkey by way of the multi-touch screen. Pressing on the right or left sides of the screen provides you with movement, while holding down on both sides of the screen allows you to start swinging in a circle. Let go at the right moment, and you catapult yourself into the air. This swinging/jumping maneuver is central to the gameplay and you'll have a chance to practice it - a lot."

I prefer play the original more than this

RE3 need another remake

Why not port RE4 remake to meta quest 3?

Profchaos42d ago

Because the headset isn't capable of running it simply put it's not powerful enough.

Look at metro awakening on quest 3 that's pushing it to its extreme and it's quite far behind PC and PS for graphical capabilities.

Wow I thought they would abandon this as the sales for village and 4 were abysmal

JEECE42d ago

For whatever reason and despite all evidence to the contrary, their are some companies bent on convincing themselves and others that people want to play premium games on Apple devices.

VersusDMC42d ago

It's assumed apple is paying for the ports. Apple probably paid a lump sum for all the RE games so capcom is just finishing up the contract.

Or maybe Capcom sees this as port practice for the switch 2 or these ports are what the switch 2 versions will be?
