Electric Playground:
"I have never seen an episode of Phineas and Ferb, but the game does a very good job of filling in the blanks. The duo are brothers and inventors, who decide to build a gigantic rollercoaster over the summer. In order to do that, they have to scour their town, searching scrap piles for parts, repairing elevators and evading their killjoy sister, Candace. For the player, that means lots of exploration and minigames that allow them to repair and build engines, cars and tracks. It's a pretty compelling effort, and may appeal to people who liked the building aspects of Banjo-Kazooie but find the racing portions too hard. I like that it's fairly open ended, allowing to explore and open up new areas by repairing things. There are also miniquests here and there, so the game isn't short on the content. The game is very easy and should be a piece of cake for younger gamers and fans of the series."
GameDynamo - "There's a new Phineas and Ferb title on the way; good news for anyone who's a fan of the series. Majesco Entertainment today announced plans to partner with Disney Interactive to develop the as-yet unnamed project."
Phineas and Ferb comes with the ability to connect to DGamer, an online feature where you can make your own avatar and chat with other Disney gamers. As you play through Phineas and Ferb, you will unlock items, such as sunglasses, for your avatar to wear. There are also special Phineas and Ferb items that can only be unlocked by playing this game!
For the most part, Phineas and Ferb is not a bad game. Granted, this reviewer is way past the target age (6 to 11), but they were actually entertained by it while it lasted.
