GamesRadar writes: "Aside from the ability to replay any of the game's 30 days, the puzzles and challenges facing you and your multi-talented Pikmin pack remains the same. If you played the original, full price is clearly a lot to shell out on a near carbon copy. Especially if Pikmin 2 makes it to Wii, as it'll be the better choice. If you missed it first time around though, you're in for a real treat".
Hardcore Gamer - New Play Control Pikmin is coming soon to the Wii U eShop at an attractive price point.
This reminds me how I always wanted GameCube titles to be ported to Virtual Console or for Nintendo to do more HD remasters of them on Wii U or handheld versions on 3DS.
Now that Super Mario Galaxy has made its way to the Wii U eShop, what other games should come to the Wii U Virtual Console? Some are more likely than others.
Super Mario Sunshine!!! I REALLY need it. It's the only 3D Mario I don't own. I used to own it but was dumb to sell a decade back. A HD Remake would be even better!
What i think needs to be on the e shop is ALL the virtual console games that the Wii had.. Turbo graphx, neo geo, genesis, & way more offerings from the retro nintendo consoles..
With the recent re-release of Super Mario Galaxy 2, Punch-Out, and the Metroid Prime Trilogy, we take a look at other Wii games that deserve the same treatment.
They missed one key one ... Resident Evil IV .... best version was on Wii U with the Wiimote.
I'd kill to see Pandora's Tower get a re-release, especially if it comes with a patch to fix the freezing glitch...
They must re-release the first two Pikmim games, although in their GameCube versions, I'm not fan of Wiimotes that much.
Zelda twilight without a doubt needs to come, wiiu needs all the help it can get, this game is much needed in the Eshop.
Full price? The retail price for the New Play Control games is $29.99. That's $20 less than a full price Wii release and 50% of full price for a PS3/360 game.
I don't remember many complaints when Capcom released a nearly identical version of RE4 with improved Wii controls for $30, but yet when Nintendo follows the same model, they are suddenly trying to rip off gamers.
Edit: Not that GamesRader is calling the game a rip-off. Aside from their mistaken claim that this is a full price title, this is actually a rather fair review.
