Telstra cagey over broadband research

TELSTRA is refusing to release research it commissioned about the economic benefits of building the national broadband network (NBN).

While the company will not make the research public, figures contained in a submission to a parliamentary inquiry show it estimates a short-term boost to the economy of about $10 billion from the NBN.
