X360: Eat Lead: Return of Matt Hazard Review

Unfortunately, the actual game is nothing but plain – it has clichéd environments that lack detail, boring character models, and a bare minimum cover system. For all its biting wit, Eat Lead is an ugly and rather mediocre third-person shooter.

Were this not blessed with such a well-executed central idea, X360 would forget about the game almost instantly, but since it tries so hard to lighten the mood with riffs on Halo, Tomb Raider and dozens of other bloated franchises, they can happily recommend it to anyone looking for a credibly comedic take on videogames. For everyone else, however, Eat Lead is quite a few new gameplay ideas away from greatness.

The viral marketing they did for it made it sound like it could have been cool, maybe that retro XBLA thing will turn out better?

And It's not as bad as it's made out to be.

Sure there are tons of great games out there but look at the game for what it is, compare it to COD 4 and you'll be disappointed.

I tell ya I played the game for a few hours tonight and the one liners had me cracking up.

Thought it was kinda fun, jokes are a bit dated as well as the graphics, but it has a fun factor to it.
