ASUS introducing the new Republic of Gamers line at 2009 CeBIT

As some may know, ASUS always made hardware and devices for any kind of user. These days, during the 2009 edition of CeBIT (one of the most important IT events in the world) in Hannover, ASUS introduced its new Republic of Gamers line, which consists in all of those powerful devices suitable for the expectations of high profile gamers.

This year, the company made the consumer offer different and the proposal covered every production sector: notebooks, graphic cards, motherboards and high level monitors.

Let's start with Notebooks: lights are on the new ASUS G71Gx, a G series model. Of course, the PC owns a GeForceT GTX 260M with 1024MB of GDDR3 memory, with the PureVideo technology in order to manage HD movies by using less power. Among the other features of the product, a 1TB hard drive and the Blu-Ray support.

Another star was the motherboard ROG Rampage II GENE, designed by the guidelines of the Rampage II series. Among the new features, the support to INtel CorteT i7 CPUs and the tecnhlogies created for the energy saving without giving up on processing power. To manage the audio, the device includes the Chip SupremeFX X-Fi, giving the player a clear and real result.

About displays: the "PG Series 120Hz Gaming Monitor" was presented. The keywords for the product are "quality" and "speed": the monitor can make any PureVideo results great, with very good frequencies, which is something a player needs.

Desktop solutions were also presented, such as the PC model ASUS ROG CG6190, including all of the last devices for the highest performances: the CoreT i7 CPU, DDR3 RAM and, of course, the GeForce GTX285, the singe VGA solutions defined as the fastest in the world. Among the other features, the audio is managed by the Supreme FX X-Fi chip, there is the liquid cooling system and a scanner for fingerprints, to give you the top in security.

Last but not least, ASUS presented the ROG Matrix Series VGA, one of the most intelligent graphic cards in the world. Equipped with the Super Hybrid Engine technology, they can automatically get voltage, fan speed and clock setting, in order to give you the top of performance and some good energy saving. Basically, everything a player desires. The ASUS ROG Matrix Series is also equipped with a double Hybrid Cooler+ fan, with automatic adjustments not to pass some defined temperatures.
