Theage: During a visit to a local developer yesterday (details coming soon) I naturally enquired as to which platforms an upcoming game was coming to. The response was typical: "PS3, 360 and PC".
When questioned about Wii, the response was affirmative, but the Wii version will be dealt with after the lead platforms have been released.
It's the same scenario at countless codeshops around the world. Despite Wii's market-leading status, it is routinely relegated to third position in the development hierarchy, and often even forth position behind the piracy-stricken PC format (more on that situation later...)
Today Screen Play can't help but wonder whether developers and publishers might want to start turning the tables and make Wii their lead platform given its astonishing sales.
