When ATI released their first part entry-level, part mainstream 4000-series cards, the HD 4600s, they painted a picture of creating cheap cards that could actually play current games. But then they followed it up with the 4550, and things went back to normal. NVIDIA, faced with the same conditions, went and decidedly did the same thing."
