TGR:Ghostbusters Hands-On Preview "Exactly what fans have been waiting for."

"As a child growing up in the 1980's, Ghostbusters was an unstoppable force of awesome. More so than other entertainment properties of the time, the paranormal adventures of Venkman, Stantz, Spengler and Zeddemore still hold a special place in the hearts of many. This June, the boys will be back in Ghostbusters: The Video Game and I went hands-on with the Xbox 360 version of this highly anticipated title at NY Comic Con to see how it was turning out."

This game sounds like so much fun, but I feel like I'm going to be let down...

That would be the correct emotion, then. This game will NOT live up to expectations.

i did months of testing on this game before actiblizzard sold it and its still basically the same. its pretty legit though. i would rent it if anything. imo the multiplayer is WEAK but the single player gameplay is pretty solid. a couple good boss battles. its worth AT LEAST a rent fersher. trophies and achievements are pretty easy too.

i would say the online aspect you will be let down as your only fighting against computer ghost but the single player campaign is funny and active and gets you into the game pretty well.

Stay Puft!

I've heard so much about Ghostbusters that it's hard to care anymore, but nevertheless I hope it's good.

Review - Ghostbuster The Video Game Remastered (Switch) | WayTooManyGames

WTMG's Todd Eggleston: "Ghostbusters The Video Game is nostalgia done right, and puts you right back in 1984. It isn’t a masterpiece of a game, and neither was the movie, but it reminds us again that it is ok for entertainment to just be entertaining. It is a game that deserves to be remastered and remembered. And 35 years later, it also serves to remind us that a remaster doesn’t always need to be Fall Out Boy and Missy Elliott. Sometimes, Ray Parker Jr. is exactly who you need to call."
