A Developer of the recently released MMO, Darkfall Online, has issued a warning to players about cheating and abusing macros.
In a post on the official Darkfall forums, developer Tasos spelled it out to players: Anyone using macros in certain protected areas (safe from other players) will receive one warning, any further occurrences will cause players to be kicked from the game. Repeated offences will result in a ban. Spamming certain spells or "disruptive" macros within those areas may cause players to be kicked without warning.
Aventurine Studios published their tentative patch notes for their upcoming update for Darkfall: Unholy Wars. The new patch makes some major changes to combat, the tweaks to the combat system were largely based on player feedback.
Aventurine S.A., the makers of Darkfall have announced a free to play weekend. Between October 3rd and 6th new and old players alike will be able to jump in to Darkfall for free. If you have never had the opportunity to experience this high quality Hardcore PVP MMORPG, now is your chance.
Aventurine have just announced that both current and past Darkfall Online players will be able to sample the massive world of the sandbox MMO for one last time before the servers close.
Can't they stop people from using them in the code?
Awesome, let's hope they are as strict on cheating as they make out they are. Bots on WoW are a pain in the back side. Ever tried an AV match when 1/4 of the players are running into walls and healing themselves every 30 secs?
About time the devs took a stand on this.
Ah the good old macro cheats. Bound to happen.
