It's almost hard to imagine that, when the Nintendo DSi hits the North American territories on April 5th of this year, Nintendo has been in the portable game market for nearly 30 years. That's close to three decades, people. You'd think someone would fall out of love of videogames in that amount of time, but no – Nintendo is clearly in it until death does it part.
In those 30 years, Nintendo's been cranking away and building up the portable market almost brick by brick. Though it can't lay claim to starting the genre, the company can clearly take credit for strengthening it and letting it thrive along side the home consoles.
