Imagine if you bred the hit Wii games Wii Fit and Carnival Games and produced an offspring. That child might resemble Go Play Circus Star, a new Wii-exclusive from Majesco scheduled to ship in June.
DreamStation writes: "Go Play Circus Star is a game that allows the user to use either the wii remote or the wii balance board to play. The option to switch back and forth from event to event has its perks and its downsides. The concept of of this game is that you are a performer in the circus and as you perform various tricks you gain fans and money depending on how well you do. But beware if you do badly you will lose fans as well."
BuzzFocus writes: "In just under a year, the Go Play franchise has moved from an obscure name to a gaming franchise that screams run the other way. Just like Majesco's recently released Go Play Lumberjacks, Go Play Circus suffers from several of the same flawed design decisions, as well as an overall lack of attention to creating a game that's fun".
NWR writes: "Go Play is a new series of games envisioned by Majesco Entertainment that hopes to achieve the success of games such as Carnival Games and the Mario Party series by presenting easy-to-learn gameplay and themes of wide universal appeal. The first two games under the Go Play banner are Go Play Lumberjacks and Go Play Circus Star. Both games tout Balance Board support as well as fun and gentle intuitive gameplay. Unfortunately, one of thoese games, Go Play Circus Star, is dampened by some poor design choices."
This game is going to be a kick in the balls!! It just hurts man!! The game will suck and clutter the market. Such a disappointment. I hope the economy forces the cancelling of this game!! 4EVER!
