WorthPlaying writes: "M&Ms Adventure is a platforming adventure title for the Wii based on characters from the M&M candy commercials on TV. The license is actually too weak to structure an entire game around, but we've seen stuff like this before, primarily in the NES days with titles like Yo Noid! (of Domino's pizza fame), or M.C. Kids. M&Ms Adventure is generally lacking in fun, and while I think some levels are surprisingly large, the game just isn't very enjoyable to play."
WorthPlaying writes: "I had previously reviewed M&Ms Adventure for the Wii, and I wasn't exactly kind with the final results. Having the DS game in hand now, I can't say that I'm going to be particularly kind with this version of the game either. It's pretty much a carbon copy of the Wii title, and while the simplified DS controls are definitely better than the Wii setup, it still has the same failings, and unfortunately, this iteration doesn't do anything to make use of the DS' unique system capabilities."
Mygamer writes: "The game did come out at a budget price of 20 dollars, although it should be noted that the entire experience is nothing more than shameless product placement wrapped around a really poor Mario 64 clone. But instead of selling it at retail, it should have been packed in with a large purchase of M&M candies. Say, if you buy a 10lbs bag of these chocolate morsels, this crappy Wii game could have been bundled with it...like finding a toy in a box of cereal. Instead, it is hard to justify laying down a 20-spot to purchase this game separately. Perhaps a bundled in coupon for a free bag of M&M's could have made this purchase a little more worthwhile, but this is one game that should stay where it belongs – in the bargain bin.

"Overall, M&Ms Adventure comes across as another generic platformer that we know all too well. It's a budget title and it sure feels like one in almost every aspect. The stages are usually very short, but that doesn't stop them from getting repetitive very quickly. You'd be better off saving your money for some M&Ms candy or you could go out and buy some M&Ms character figurines. Any other type of M&Ms item is better than playing this title."
