A quick history lesson on one of the most storied series' in video games

1. Street Fighter IV is a one-on-one fighting game.
One-on-one fighting games are a varied and diverse genre, and the Street Fighter series is arguably the biggest juggernaut of them all. These games focus on competitive play versus a single opponent, controlled by either a human or by the computer. The object is to "KO" the opponent in a set number of matches by reducing their energy to nothing. This is accomplished by skillfully using the basic and special techniques of a character to attack an opponent. However, these opponents are similarly armed with their own powerful skills; so learning, anticipating, and guarding or evading their attacks is necessary to ensure success.
