Fans of the Sims series should be happy to hear that production of The Sims 3 is moving along well, fixing many of the issues from former games in the series. Everyone remembers the absurd loading between areas, right? Thankfully, the shackles of load times have been cut, and the entire neighborhood can be explored. Seamlessly walking from one place to another is just one of the many new features coming to the Sims 3 when it releases later this year, and it looks to be the most in-depth iteration of the franchise yet.
For fans, it hopes to expand on the formula by adding new places to go and giving the player even more customization options, and for new initiates The Sims 3 has removed some of the annoying parts of preview games in favor of a more graceful experience.
With an expensive backlog of DLC that it struggles to run on modern hardware, The Sims 3 deserves revisiting.
