Microsoft Announces 512MB Memory Unit for Xbox 360 and Increased Xbox LIVE Arcade Game Size Limit
512MB Memory Unit enhances storage capabilities and choice for Xbox 360 gamers; increased Xbox LIVE Arcade size limit provides additional flexibility for game developers.
SAN FRANCISCO - March 4, 2007 - At the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2007, Microsoft Corp. today announced plans to launch a 512MB Memory Unit for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system and an increase in the official size limit of Xbox LIVE® Arcade games from 50 MB to 150 MB.
And what is the 512mb thing about?
Memory cards 512mb that you plug in the flaps
the 20gb hdd is already 100$. two 512mb for 50$ each is already as much as the 20gb hdd.
This is why no hdd as standard was the ultimate mistake for Microsoft.Kudos to Sony for common sense on this one.
#4 WTF?!, Yah! Sony sure got the best of MS with MS's removable Harddrives, MS making money on future HDD's vs people buying any street Harddrive for PS3 was a bad idea. lol
