the 20gb hdd is already 100$. two 512mb for 50$ each is already as much as the 20gb hdd.

This is why no hdd as standard was the ultimate mistake for Microsoft.Kudos to Sony for common sense on this one.

The Core unit isn't standard its sub-standard.

The term standard in reference to cars, insurance policies, and consoles means that it's included in all variations of said products.

If a particular car comes with an airbag and anti-lock brakes standard then that means that they don't sell that particular car without those items.

If a particular insurance policy comes with personal liability coverage for $100,000 standard then that means that they don't sell that particular insurance policy without that coverage.

If a particular console comes with an optical disk drive standard then that means that they don't sell that particular console without that optical disk drive. The HDD is most definitely not standard in the 360 because the core version of the 360 does not have a HDD. The HDD is standard in the PS3 because you will not see a PS3 sold without a HDD... ever.

#4 WTF?!, Yah! Sony sure got the best of MS with MS's removable Harddrives, MS making money on future HDD's vs people buying any street Harddrive for PS3 was a bad idea. lol
