Onetime Sony-owned shopping complex in San Francisco will part ways with electronics company's only gaming-focused retail outlet this summer.
Who doesn't love a good challenge? If everything was easy, there would be no joy in getting it done. In the realm of video games, the late 1980s and 1990s were the perfect era of "get good" gaming with multiple big-named titles that put a player's skills to the test. The Super Nintendo, one of
Compare Star Wars' Galen Marek and Cal Kestis—two powerful Force users with unique journeys, combat styles, and roles in the galaxy far, far away.
EA announced the new Skate game is headed to consoles and PC next year.
what a coincidence... just the other day T Hawk was said to be in talks with Activision for a revival as well. I swear, EA and Activision have spies among their ranks. CoD info begets Battlefield info just as T Hawk begets Skate.
I never got to go to the Metreon, but I heard it was really awesome. It's been around for quite some time too, which makes it even more unfortunate.
R.I.P., Metreon!

oldjadedgamer: "I live down the street from this store and it's not because of the recession it's because this store sucks. They charge an extra $5 bucks for games even games that are set in price like the greatest hits. For the first year of the PS3's life they had only 5 units shoved in the corner playing super old games.
They never have stuff in stock... for instance, they still don't even sell PSN pre-paid cards because they are "not set up for it" at the Official Playstation Store! They hardly ever have special events there even though Sony HQ is just a 20 minute drive away from it.
It's a crappy store that they only opened because Sony originally owned the Metreon. After visiting this store many, many times... the recession is the last on the list of reasons this store is shutting down."
Honestly, now... a PlayStation Store not equipped to sell PSN prepaid cards?!?!
