Further Job Cuts Hit Mythic

Edge writes: "Warhammer Online developer Mythic will see further staff cuts as its publishing partner EA looks to reduce its global workforce by 1,100.

It is unknown how many workers have been let go, though some reports suggest the cut is as high as 130. Following recent news that Mythic had cut up to 21 members of staff – a figure that was speculated to be far higher – the Jacobs stated that "the whole 'OMG we're losing half? [of] the developer (or even of the total team)' thing is total nonsense.'"

I agree when it comes to The Sims Online. That game was really fun and nothing has even come close to it. I still crave a new Sims with online multiplayer. Blows my mind they haven't done anything like that since The Sims Online or even The Sims Bustin' Out on PS2.
