Sapphire launches AM3 790GX motherboard

Fudzilla writes, "Sapphire has just announced a new addition to its range of AMD motherboards with the introduction of its first AM3 motherboard which goes under the name of PC-AM2RS790G or the PURE CrossFireX 790GX.

As we're sure that you've figured out by now, this motherboard uses the 790GX chipset from AMD and it has the SB750 southbridge. The board supports AM2+ and AM3 processors and DDR2 memory. As the chipset feature integrated graphics, Sapphire has gone with 128MB of sideband memory for those interested in using it or running hybrid CrossFire."
