Split-Screen Killzone 2 Review: A Unique Experience?

Ravi Sinha writes: "Guerrilla Games fought nothing short of an uphill battle in convincing gamers that Killzone 2 was a reality, that the magnanimous scale of inter-planetary civilizations was real, much less playable, on a console. Have they proved the naysayers wrong? Does Killzone 2 surpass Gears of War 2, Halo 3 or even Resistance 2? Is this the textbook FPS of 2009 and beyond? Is Killzone 2 a unique experience?"

actually..where did you get the 90/100 score? There's no scoring for the game on the site

Seems to be working fine now.

(It’s not sheer, 100% perfect, but the extra 10 parts that could have been invested is a testament to the sheer euphoria of the remaining 90.)

I`m guessing that is the score? am I right?

Can`t wait for this game, I love me a good shooter :D

"...It’s not sheer, 100% perfect, but the extra 10 parts that could have been invested is a testament to the sheer euphoria of the remaining 90. Is Killzone 2 a unique experience? Long story short, it’s fun and that’s the only thing that matters."

EDIT: I think it's implied to be 90/100.

I'm sorry ..but thats not a final score

Only stupid people need the review to say at the end:

"FINAL SCORE: 90 out of 100"

Especially after the article is explicit enough.

I asked Ravi myself and he specifically told me that this was a 90/100 game. He even stated it clearly in the last paragraph.

I thought AAA means a perfect 10...Or is that an S? @[email protected]

But yeah, the game rates as an A-grade title. No doubt about it. :)

because it means many different things. In some cases it has to do with budget and expectations for the game, in others it has to do with public approval and marketing budget, in even more it has to do with actual sales and profit made off the game, and, lastly, it can relate to critical reception of the game.

It's hard to really argue what AAA means, as it means different things to different people and different situations.

for me....its the company/people that help you out if your car breaks down on the highway and for others American Anthropological Association.

The game has definitely gotten it's due. I say screw those guys over at Metacritic who are messing with this game's user ratings. Killzone 2 is the masterpiece we've been waiting for, despite some flaws. :D
