just like with GTA IV on the 360 if you want the complete FF XIII experience you have to play it on the PS3 simple! there is no way around it really. I got my 360 for Star Ocean anyways so I don't really care :p. So I'll be playing FF13 on my ps3 and SO4 on my 360 :p

DLC does NOT make a game complete, if so NO LAST GEN game was ever complete. Which is very sad if you actually believe that. BTW, I think exclusive DLC for ANY system is a horrible idea and should NOT be the way gaming progresses.

Because it is a PS3 exclusive and no outdated console(aka X360) will prevent the game from fully utilize the Cell power to reach a new level of detail that the X360 only dreams about. This isn't going to be like the PS3 version of FFXIII that it's being downgraded to be on par with the X360 port.

They are two things that I like about Versus more than XIII. The first is the Mature rating that it'll get which would be the first actual FF game with a mature rating and second is the battle system which reminds me of the Kingdom Hearts series which is my favorite battle system of all Square games.

I agree that Versus XIII is the more interesting game. However it's hard for people to get excited and care a whole lot for a game that is more then a year off. XIII is set for release sometime near the end of the year in Japan meaning that Versus will probably not be for a good amount of time after that. With the game so far off there isn't alot of info to follow and therefore little to be excited about. Once the game is closer to release you can be sure that plenty of people will be caring a WHOLE lot.

The same thing can be said about the 360 fans who no longer care about the countless titles that jumped on to the PS3. The most notable being the game of the year Bioshock. Suddenly no one is a huge fan of that game.

I was more hyped for Versus from the second I heard about it. Has my hype lowered for FF13? Why should it? The PS3 version will be unaffected by the port the 360 will receive. The PS3 version will have been finished before production even starts on the 360 port. I'll still get the superior version that takes advantage of the hardware I own, and on top of that I still have Versus to look forward to. There is no reason to choose favourites when I get them both.

Versus has the edge because I want a final fantasy that is mature and is more realistic. With Nomura at the helm, you can also expect the characters to have quite a bit of depth to them. Look how FF12 turned out without Nomura. This guy is what makes Final Fantasy so great.

You need to use a better comparison. The games that the man mentioned at the top were released simultaneously or are not even out yet. This is why Microsoft uses this strategy. They get the games on their console first. Everyone plays them because the 360 is really mainstream. Then everyone gets tired of them. Then it comes out for the PS3, and no one buys them due to the fact that everyone played them rofl.

Myself and most people i know are and always were more interest by Versus . I even was weary of the official XIII , seeing how i dont enjoy usually most Nomura "helmed" official FF .

Most pals were hooked by that sublime first teaser of versus ,and hope the gameplay would retain even a glipse of it ..

Final Fantasy 13 is due out exclusively for the PS3 in December 2009 and the rest of us have to wait for the 360 version to be developed before we play it which is likely going to be fall 2010. Versus is scheduled to be released after 13 so there isn't a definitive release date.

Well... from what i've seen, i really pray for a VERY good version of FF XIII Versus. With names behind it like the creators of FF V, VI, VII, VIII, Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2... this will be my real next-gen FF XIII.
The other one is very good about the graphic, but i don't know if i'll like the battle system (and if it has anonimous ppl with nonexistent story).

Versus 13 has yet to spark my interest, perhaps when we know more about it like we on Final Fantasy XIII, then maybe people will become more interested in it, such as myself. Right now, it's off the radar for most people.

But then there's the scenario that you are just a butt-hurt Sony fanboy who claims Square "betrayed" the PS3 and their fans (which I find quite funny because Square is a Corporation), in which case you have those people and then the people that have been interested in Versus since they first heard about it. Other than that, no one else seems interested, most likely, do to a lack of information.

Anyways, I want to actually see some real gameplay in Versus 13 before I even begin considering the game. The pre-rendered scenes didn't spark my interest like FFXIII did when I first saw the trailer at Microsoft's press conference (Before then, I wasn't sure they were making another Final Fantasy game to be honest, I don't follow gaming very much)
