Go look through the people commenting on Gamespot, Gametrailers, Kotaku and all those pro-360 sites and you will find that they're the exact opposite of N4G.

the PS3 is uninteristing to me to me , I dont really care about it except for MGS4 (yeah even KZ2 doesnt get to me) but that doesnt mean that I ALWAYS see the other side as the illogical one believe it or not.

Yeah, the PS3 is just a piece of hardware. We get it. But you have to understand, for the past 3 years fans have been demonized and ridiculed for the simple reason that they have a console preference that wasn't the 360.

Personally, I like games. I own all 3 consoles, when I get home from the office it helps me unwind. I also like to talk about games and issues related to the industry. It's a hobby.

For the past 3 years it didn't matter which forums you posted on, if you didn't bow in the direction of Redmond, Washington once a day in front of your 360 idol you'd be swamped with hate mail, PM's and general forum postings with the most obscure nonsense and personal attacks you could ever see. The PS3 has no games, the PS3 has inferior hardware, the PS3 isn't selling, the PS3 is only a Blu-Ray player, the PS3 causes testicular cancer, the PS3 is too expensive, the PS3 can never match the 360..ever ever ever.

And it went on and on. Now after 2 years on the market it's apparent that the PS3 is a pretty descent system and only the most diehard fanboys could possibly argue otherwise. After 2-3 years of being ridiculed and harassed, Sony fans finally feel a bit vindicated. And some may go a little overboard, but it's still nowhere near the over-the-top 360 obsession that's still rampant across most of the gaming forums out there.

Dude, you want to point the finger at PS3 fans I suggest you look at what 360 fans turned the online gaming community into over the past couple of years. I've had people message me on Gamespot before saying "Way to stand up to those guys. They've been running people off the site for too long. I just couldn't take the hate mails anymore."

It's sad that you still can't debate issues relevant to gamers without 360 fans stumbling in like a drunk uncle to piss all over everyone else.

If you can't deal with that...if you find that just ticks you off too much maybe you should push that ole chair back from the desk, turn away from that ole, bad interweb and find something else to do.

I totally agree with this guy. PS3 silly fanboys keep yepping about better graphics and FPS, when my PC completely blows away the PS3. They don't even have a next gen machine now compared to a pimped out PC.

I have both 360 and PS3, and they have fairly equal graphics so far. I will have to wait until Killzone 2 comes out to see if the PS3 surpasses the 360 with top graphics so far. From all the HD video, I would say that 'yes' is looks the best so far on a console, but it is just a marginal improvement over titles like GeOW2, definitely not mind blowing.

But in comparison to my new PC, 360 and PS3 are just old news technology wise. Anyway, I like my 360 and PS3 for different reasons. I like my 360 for online and gaming better, while I like my PS3 for multimedia (Bluray Movies) better.

Either way, my PC thumps your consoles performance wise, while unfortunately my 360/PS3 thumps my PC for more games. Though, I definitely think I will be playing my PC a lot more this year, too many great strategy and RTS games coming out for the PC this year.

I really can't say the same for the consoles, only games I am looking forward this year is COD MW 2, Killzone 2, Forza 3 and Mass Effect 2.

You would never hear Tor Davis call out 360 owners because he is a 360 fanboy himself. Yeah he might toss out a tid bit of bait saying how he likes some things Sony does but in the end he too has his nose up MS's arse. One of the best things about the Warzone was how he, a dedicated Xbox fanboy would duke it out with HipHop, who was once thought to be more Sony proned than 360.

One of the issues I have with Tor was when he and the fanboys on his podcast called out the Sony fanboys for running to Metacritic and posting poor scores for some Xbox game and simply negated to say a thing about the Xbox fans doing the exact same thing to some Sony title. it was a perfect issue of tit for tat and all he could do is try and slap the Sony fans on the wrists.

No matter how you see it, all fanboys suck ares, even the ones that claim they are not yet have podcasts proving otherwise.

In all honesty, I am waiting for the Warzone to join the ranks of GamerCast Network, one of the biggest pro MS fanboy podcast conglomerates around.

And were you serious when you said Sony should buy DLC like MS? Unlike MS, Sony have a lot more first party and second party studios to support. Sony is using their money to support new games instead of DLC. I think many people would prefer a full game rather than DLC.

It's not a matter of budget. Sony should be able to afford exclusive DLC AND pay for new games. Sony is banking on their exclusives, that's fine, but PS3 owners got shafted out of GTAIV and Fallout DLC simply because Sony doesn't think it's worth it. Well ask all of those PS3 owners that actually WANT the DLC how they feel. Microsoft is cutthroat this generation and Sony needs to go back to when they were cut throat to provide a better gaming experience for PS3 owners. Mirror's Edge is a start...

I for one don't care for the GTA IV DLC since GTA IV is the worst in the series. GTA IV, HAZE, Too Human and Spore are the only games I regret getting this generation. But I do however am disappointed with the Fallout 3 DLC, but I am not going to complain about it because I made a choose to get the PS3 version over the Xbox 360 version.. I could have gotten this game on my xbox 360, but I got it for the PS3 because I prefer the PS3 controller more than the Xbox 360 controller.

Yes I do agree that MS is cutting throats when it comes to time exclusives and DLC. That is great for xbox 360 owners.
But tell me, what would your prefer? Exclusive DLC or exclusives games?

That's great and all, but I still would prefer that Sony use that funding to make new games or IPs rather than buying exclusives or DLC. Sequels can only get you so far and with games high production nowadays, Sony knew that they can't really rely on 3rd party exclusivity so they opted to building a stronger first and second party relationship to go along with their long-term console cycle plan.

Also, you can challenge PS3 owners all you want but you know that it won't sell as much as Halo or Gears unless Sony advertises the hell out of it. I'm buying the game first day, as a matter of fact I got it paid off 2 months ago but I ain't buying two copies because of your challenge. People who visit gaming sites will probably but it but there's a bigger world out there that doesn't so unless it's advertised properly, it won't sell. Take for example my cousin who just got his PS3 last month. He got it because we played Coop in. W@W in my system. He totally loved the game and I told him about KZ2. And his response is "What's that?" Now he's getting the game. After he saw the videos I downloaded from PSN and from me, not from Sony. Again, advertisement will make or break this game.

Exclusives don't mean a damn thing to me. I own both systems. I would take the DLC over exclusives because DLC increases the use of my games. I'm done with Heavenly Sword. I'll probably never play it again. If they released DLC for it, I would dust it off and play it again. And this is one of my favorite PS3 titles. I would have put Fallout 3 away if not for the DLC. Same with GTAIV. It's like getting a new GTA game. DLC is important and a lot of people just don't see it. IF EA used DLC for Madden we would never have to pay $60 for another Madden game.

If you don't give a damn about exclusives, then that's just you, and Most of the DLC that some developers are releasing should already be included when the game first releases anyways.

Even if the GTA4 DLC was released on the PS3, I wouldn't be buying it because I got tired of that game too quick and it got really repetitive. I played San Andreas for nearly 2 years before putting it down for good. GTA4 was the first GTA game that I played for only a month and never picked it back up. I enjoyed previous GTA games WAY longer WITHOUT DLC.

Microsoft doesn't have NO WHERE as many 1st party studios and because Microsoft doesn't have to fund so many internal studios, they can go out and blow everything on DLC.

With most games being Multiplatform this generation, personally I think that it's going to be EXCLUSIVES that make a system stand out in the long run, NOT DLC.

Sony already has you money for HS, they dont care if you put it back in your drive. DLC would be great, but I want new games. I am sure others feel the same way unless you have a tample set up for your 360... in that case then yeah, DLC is the best thing since dvd's.

TorDavis' view of DLC>Exclusives makes absolutely no sense. When one sits down to decide which gaming console they are going to buy, do they say "Well, hey, the 360 has GTAIV DLC" or do they say "Man, the 360 has Gears of War, Halo 3, Mass Effect"? Come on, son, we all understand that you PERSONALLY would like some DLC for your games, but it doesn't really make sense to go out and spend heaps of money on securing that as opposed to new exclusives. Sony wants to sell more units of hardware, and they know they need AAA/genre-defining exclusives in order to do that. The only time DLC really comes into play is when the companies are trying to compete over multiplatform games sales. The truth of the matter, though, is that multiplatform titles with exclusive DLC don't typically sway one to buy one console over the other. We understand that you are a 360 fanboy, but try to see things from all sides at least some of the time.

Also I'd like to add that your comment about exclusives not meaning a "damn thing" to you because you own both systems (like myself), was extremely close-minded. Do you think that the average person can/will buy both systems especially since the PS3 has proven itself to be too expensive to the average consumer (for now) and the economy is in the crapper? It's not about 1080p @ 60 FPS as you say, that is what YOU believe the "argument" is, when it is not. It's about innovation and future planning & foresight to offer innovation and the ability to grow as the years pass. Look at how God of War 2 on PS2 looks compared to a launch title from 2000! THAT shows a pattern of what Sony Playstation consoles have done in EVERY iteration that has been released (PS1, PS2, PSP & PS3 currently). That is the "argument", not some crap about playing 5 1080p PS3 games or not playing any PS2 games because they aren't 1080p. Which I find especially funny how that wasn't even massly available back then so how does that ultimately apply in your "point"? (and don't try and use GT4 or GoW2 being able to use HD at the very end of it's run as that just supports what I said about not being massly available early on, remember for the majority of the PS2's reign even though you could use Component it was only for 480p).

You have your "opinion" about graphics not being a big deal...that is YOUR opinion and thus is not factual or right. Whereas the point of graphics having a definite effect on gameplay is truthful. Not only does it make it more immersive but it also enhances effectiveness. I.E. anyone having played Golden Eye can attest to having died MANY times because the graphics where not favorable in certain environments or how racing around in Gran Turismo 1 you would sometimes clip a corner because of a deficiency in graphics to judge how close to that corner you where. Along your Daily you then went on a rant about how "back in the day" you played this or that with no textures and such...I too have been playing games for over 30 years and remember those times VERY clearly, but you know what invention is the mother of necesity (though I do believe the quote is really said the other way around but whatever) and technology has pushed the boundaries to get where we are today and where we are going. Seriously, come on. I don't want to settle for less when I can have more and the Playstation history has ALWAYS given us that. Not restricted, broken, limited, old technology from previous gens.

Also I didn't (and don't) see you talking "down" to all the 360 owners that where talking all that BS about the 360's graphics being better or how LIVE! is the be all end all of online etc. for the last 2-3 years here on N4G? What about their "energy"? Seems a bit hypocritical of you to NOW call out PS3 owners who are having thier pay back and making people eat crow after all the misinformation and lies that where (and continually) spread! Additionally how could you even say that "PS owners should focus their energy on convincing Sony to buy exclusivity like MS is doing" when they don't need it? MICROSOFT are the ONLY ones who need it! For someone in the "know" you can't obviously believe that BS? Sony has MORE than enough of their own exclusives, and if something is going to be mulitplatform then it doesn't really matter as they will have it also, thus offering more choices anyway for their customers...

Now onto your challenge. It's Brilliant (but to a fault), and I give you that (as I have with other things in the past) but as a realist I have to say it ain't gonna happen (at least not right away for the BIG numbers at least). Halo, Gears, COD and even MGS didn't start out as big as people think or believe and to ask KZ2 to be as "big" as their CURRENT following (Halo 3, Gears 2, COD 4 & MGS4) is not a proper challenge and your only setting up a preface to make yourself "seem" right/correct. I'm sorry TD but that is quite weak, BUT say something like that for Gran Turismo 5 when it comes out...then I would say that is a fair challenge and I would whole heartedly agree if it DIDN'T come up with similar numbers that would be very disappointing.

I rarely ever get caught up in arguments like this on N4G but are you kidding me? DLC and being nickel and dimed to death is one of my biggest gripes this generation. Especially when it's content that you know exist on the disc when you purchased it but you have to pay to unlock it. (Yes SCIV - Vader and Yoda I am looking at you.)

I think I have purchased DLC 2 or 3 times this generation.
I purchased the map pack for Gears of War (1), COD4 and I am not sure if I did it for another game but I might have.

The PS3 has a handicap as it has a much larger install base than the 360 had when Halo 3 launched. As many of you stated before the 360 is last gen hardware compared to the PS3. It suffers from RROD and Halo 3 is one of the most overhyped games ever, while Killzone 2 is the best fps to date, correct? So logically it should be no problem.

Believe me there are more Xbox fanboys than PS3 fanboys they (the Xbox fanboys) have either converted to dual console owners, or have went underground since a lot of their previous claims against the PS3 no longer hold up.

One thing is for sure. This game industry would be much better off w/o rabid fanboys from either side.

Thank you i am glad somebody finally said it. Most PS3 owners own a 360 or have owned a 360. I use to be a 360 fan(hardcore at that) until i bought a ps3 and wii. My views changed after that. Like i said before most so-called ps3 fans have/had a 360.

Some people like the fact that there is a publisher out there willing to invest so much money in new technology rather than just throwing millions at DLC. Sony is doing whats good for gamers, and thats separating themselves from the competition rather than trying to copy it. I can't accept it when so many people who own PS3's want DLC. Just like they wanted an achievement system and were given trophies. Yeah, Sony is the king of 1st party exclusives. That's great! Microsoft needs more but it's not what makes or breaks a system. 3rd party publishers own this generation. You can't deny that. The biggest sellers are PS3 are all 3rd party. MGS4, GTAIV and COD4 are all 3rd party games. Whether they are exclusive or not doesn't matter. LOL the only group of people that prefer exclusives over DLC are the DROIDS cause they don't get them. MS has plenty of exclusives that have sold better than exclusives on the PS3 so it would appear that the majority of PS3 owners don't agree with exclusives over DLC SINCE THEY ARE NOT BUYING THEM.

Also its a great business strategy to have exclusive DLC on popular games like GTA IV. This helps put quick money into Developers accounts AND allows MS to gain returns from the Downloads.

So i don't know what could HHG possibly be bringing to the warzone because MS has both many and great exclusives AND exclusive DLC - whereas the PS3 has about 3 Great exclusive games (according to metacritic) which nobody is buying and ALMOST ZERO exclusive DLC.

Ofcourse people want exclusives over DLC because that comment alone implies that the party with the DLC is only doing DLC while the other company is pumping out AAA exclusive after exclusive.

The real comment should be we would rather have exclusive DLC combined with our EXCLUSIVE games.

But Sony droids will not accept this comment because they know MS currently has a HUGE exclusive library and multiplat games that have EXCLUSIVE DLC. MS has the best of both worlds while Sony (at this moment) only has a bit of both worlds...that nobody cares about according to sales.

I checked out your show and thought you made a few interesting points. However, I'd like to call you out on a couple of them. I have to agree that the comments on this site can get out of hand from both camps. You stated that you hate when people talk about how one console is better graphically/visually than another. Things like textures, frame rates, resolutions, etc. Excellent points that you made referring to old school gaming and how we didn't give a d@mn back in the day. However, I think that your focus of "stopping the madness" is being directed to the wrong group. The media/reviewers/magazines/webs ites have started this snowball effect that EVERY pixel needs to be compared and contrasted in multiplatform games. The reviews of these games have caused this mess. When I open up a publication of GameInformer or check out IGN or go to gametrailers or other sites that likes to compare and contrast, I am smart enough to draw my own conclusions and not go off of the sole opinion of 1-2 other gamers; cuzz that's all they are, they just get paid to say what they say and write what they write. It doesnt make their opinion more accurate than my opinion. Stop the media/reviewer/magazines/websi tes from doing this then I guarantee that the madness will seize to exist.

You also challenged all PS3 owners to buy Killzone 2. In my opinion, your intentions are good, but your means of presenting the challenge is flawed. I agree that gamers should support all good games because it brings forth innovation from devs/publishers. But you're indirectly doing the very same thing that the previously mentioned media/websites are doing: comparing and contrasting PS3 software sales vs 360 software sales. "Xbox gamers buy everything.." "Playstation guys are fickle..." (-Torrence Davis) Why does it matter if Killzone 2 puts up Halo or Gears numbers? Why would you be disappointed if they don't? I agree that it may deserve them, but will it affect my enjoyment of the game? No. Will there be a thriving online community that I'll get extreme satisfaction from? More than likely. They are nothing but flame bait. I also said in another show that even if KZ2 only sold 100,000, make sure you are one of those 100,000 people so you don't miss a great game. My challenge to PS3 owners was more to get them amped to buy the game. I would absolutely love to see this game break records so all the Xbox rigz that use sales as a way to determine which system is better would stfu. I want to see this game BLOW UP. I've watched some stuff from tordavis and never commented on them before because I thought they were nothing much. His comments were always biased and I always thought it was alright for someone to have some preference but this was just over the top.

As for HHG I only watched it once. With that and reading his comments it is so obvious he is too biased towards the PS3 that is not even funny. I guess HHG is a LITTLE informative so I don't care much.. just ignore it. I see some people here like his shows and like tordavis shows... but this is just stupid.

How do you explain how developers like EA, Ubisoft, Konami, and Namco Bandai can all come forward with financial results showing the PS3 is their biggest revenue generator. Clearly PS3 fans buy games, we just don't necessarily all rush out and buy the same game like you see happen with Gears 2 vs a game like Banjo Kazooie. So far it's only been 5% of 360 games that ever broke the 2 million mark. 360 fans appear very particular in the type of games they like, but don't think for a second that because PS3 games don't hit 1 million instantly that they aren't moving software.

Thing is, to me, Sony's comments about "not paying for third party exclusives" is telling MS "go ahead, USE YOUR money to buy them since we don't give a f#ck about them", and the MS shark is seeing Sony's blood in the water with that comment. Coupled with their obsession with beating Sony by any means necessary, and you've got a situation where everyone tends to suffer.

It's working like this: Microsoft right now is depending too little on first parties, and Sony is depending too MUCH on them. No one has gotten to a good consensus of the two. MS has been shutting down first party studios probably because they are too focused on making the 360 top heavy with third party games with established franchises. Sony has been missing the boat because they are too dependent on first parties to fight the fire with fire.

Not too many people mind the multiplatform business (as long as we don't get delays for one console's version because they HAVE to release the other console's version at the same time), and we LOVE those first party games (why do you think PS3 fans DO mention Uncharted every time and why Killzone 2 is the most hyped game right now?), but we need consensus and an even mix of the two. Nintendo, for what it's worth, has GOT that even mix (no comment on the actual games the Wii has as a result of that, and not saying the consensus would make those shovelware games come out for the PS3 or 360).

I would also suggest that next week, to challenge 360 owners to something that you believe is troubling about Microsoft's business practices right now. My belief is maybe you could turn the tables a bit and have them ask Microsoft why there are not as many new first-party IPs being made for the system. Making a suggestion here.

1. I agree with you about some things getting out of hand sometimes, but at the same time, it's both sides. Like some of the people said below me, it's the list of people that make ignorant and immature comments about how better the 360 is than the PS3, and I'm just looking at those saying "why do you care" or "why do you so want only your side to get something" or "why do you abuse the N4G system like you do because you don't like what a story said about your favorite system" or "why do you HAVE to bring up the SDF every time you make a comment or try to somehow make who your responding to a member when you don't even KNOW them". If you like a system and prefer a system (hell, even if you're a fanboy of it), then fine. That is your prerogative, you got your reasons, that's fine. But, regardless of side, don't come on here acting like some big sh!t. It's mainly the 360 fanboys that get to ME because I've seen them a lot more, and you've probably seen more PS3 fans doing that (I tend to go onto stories where I do see more 360 fanboys acting that way, and I LOVE making them angry with my responses to them). Unfortunately, regardless of side and regardless of what you say, you're not going to stop anything anytime soon. I do remember playing Haunted House and those eyes, too. Oh, and right now, I have about 10 or 11 PS3 games and one Wii game (the one being Metroid Prime 3). You should play a game because it's a good, great, whatever game.
2. About that Fallout 3 thing, you've probably seen my challenge to Todd Howard to answer my questions (I have called them, may try again on Monday....if no power goes out because of this winter storm they're saying we're going to get). That's what I've said: Boycotts ain't enough because a company sometimes has more money to survive such, or not enough people will do things that way or believe in boycotting something like that or whatever. My view is that in order to get things to happen, you have to MAKE it happen. MAKE those phone callsa, crash those web servers, do SOMETHING if you're angry. Posting about it here is good and we want to hear the diverse opinions, but it's not enough if you want the people shafting you to rethink their position on these things. Get on the horns, write those e-mails, and challenge them to interviews in which the REAL questions can be answered.
3. As for the KZ2 challenge (which was to buy KZ2 to get it to blockbuster numbers), I don't think you'll have any problem with PS3 owners taking THAT, even if people don't even know you exist (how can't they), if the Amazon.com and Play.com numbers say anything.

I have been on N4G for two years now and you're completely right. Its only PS3 fanboys ranting on here while all the 360 fans only post constructive comments. I just bought Bejewled 2 on PSN last night. I play Street Fighter II occasionally. I play Resistance 2, Little Big Planet and more recently Heavenly Sword. I have a total of fifteem games and counting for my PS3. I'm planning on getting either a 320 or a 500gb harddrive for my PS3 as well as Fallout 3.

My PSN friends list consist of my co-workers, real life friends and online friends...I have over 50 friends on PSN. The PSN is not that active as XBL is. This is why I will always buy my multiplat games on 360.

And some of these people are on my friend list on both consoles.

The problem could be with people having both console is that they have to keep their XBL accounts active. Why? Simple, they're paying for it. You can't really afford not to use it on a monthly basis especially when you already paid a year in advance.

and they claim they can't capture ps3 in it's highest settings for lack of hardware to do so.so the ps3 videos come off as washed out and white.when ps3 fans know that you can turn on RGB,and have hdmi instead of component settings.sites handicap ps3 to make it seem the two systems are equal.when clearly they are not.

ps3 fans are frustrated on those issues.i'm a fan,and i have seen this stem from one console's fans and a company that doesn't give a sh!t about friendly competition.only if they get ahead.even if it turns the game industry upside down creates rifts between gamers.

ps3 fans also question microsoft's entry into the industry and their strategy.and the fans who support the crap coming out of seattle.redwood,where ever.

to us,supporting microsoft means supporting:

1)PAYING for online gaming when all other forms outside of MMOS is free.

2)PAYING for a high priced wifi when all other pieces of hardware has wifi build in.

3)PAYING for items that either should have been in the game for FREE as DLC.or PAYING for DLC on multiplatform games that shut other gamers out of extra content.multiplatform friken content.sounds as bad as EA when they bought ALL the football licenses to keep visual concepts from making anything.

4)dealing with the constant returns of a KNOWN,cheaply made product and blaming the gamers for RROD before owning up to it.then releasing a 3 year warranty to hold off recalling the piece of sh!t that causes fires,scratches discs and takes up gamers time in playing.it also holds lawsuits at bay.

we question 360 fan's loyalty to a company willing to shut down known developers that make good games to keep 360 afloat and in the profit margin.we question their loyalty to arrogant punks that can't talk about their own business.it's always about sony's business.

I would like to see MS try their business strategy on other electronics departments. For example, if they made laptops, tv, or cellphones with the same level of failure rate as the 360, they would be out of that market. only and only gamers are so easy to manipulate that they put up with all the crap MS imposes in the ones that support them by buying the console. Im a gamer and i love my games, but i dont put up with MS abuse. After my 360 went RROD and receiving a refurbished piece of crap back, i realize that this was unacceptable. Where ever you find fanboys you are always going to find anti-fanboys. It's a simple fact of the human species that when you have 2 similar competing products/teams/nations etc you are going to have fanboys. The US is the best nation (it's just land), the Steelers are the best NFL team (it's just men in pads), Ford is better than Chevy (just a bunch of metal), ad infinitum. As for the DLC issue, you're forgetting something important. DLC will only matter to the people who enjoyed the core game. For example, I bought GTA4, thought it was the worst one in the series and traded it in so I will not be purchasing the new content. Do you really think people will buy a console based on DLC??? To prove a point, the Tomb Raider devs have recently stated that Tomb Raider sold more on the PS3 EVEN though the 360 has the extra DLC.
Explain that one.

More importantly, console DLC has only really appeared in this generation so I don't think it's going to affect peoples decision that much.

The only developer where I think, if their dlc was to be console exclusive would cause a shift would be the excellent people at Criterion

Uncharted is the most fascinating game I have seen graphically. Now bear in mind this; I'm not just talking 'GRAPHICALLY', I'm talking about artistically, in design, in details and animation.

Now I will stand up for Uncharted because that is an appreciated gem in this gaming world this gen. How many other CONSOLE games can you see such perfect natural emulated lighting in? Plants animating and swaying naturally as you walk through them? Birds flying being scared away and animated perfectly?
Tiny little details like Nathan's shirt slowly drying out when out of the water soaking wet over time? The near-perfect water engine?

There is so many little details in Uncharted which makes it such a good game and it also stands to have really good gameplay. The actual (technical side) of the graphics is the icing on the cake. But the flawless animation and the way everything reacts how it should in real life as you walk into it is incredible.

Uncharted is Naughty Dog, ND has always been such a great developer because of artistic design, small details, narrative and likable characters. Was it the PS3? Dunno, was it Naughty Dog? probably. But Uncharted is still one of the finest looking games out there because of the work ND put into it.

When people ignore and disregard the work ND put into the game, with a unique developed engine, etc (because they probably don't have a PS3) it really annoys me, if you DON'T think its the best looking game on consoles (artistically and animation wise) then you HAVEN'T played Uncharted or don't pay attention to what makes a world convincing in an animation, Tv show or game.

I feel Sony is doing better in the way they spend theyre money, for instance its reported that Killzone 2 cost Sony 50 million dollars to make.

And what do they have to show for it, Well The best looking console game, along with a brand new engine specifically tailored for the ps3. Imagine if they utilize this engine for future ps3 games and evertime they do they get more out of it.

Imagine what Sony was able to accomplish in 2 years, i'll love to see what they pull off in its 3rd year and so on.

Every single person that bought a PS3 or Xbox 360 bought it because it has superior graphics and gameplay, if not they could have stuck with the PS2 or bought a Wii. Those old games that he is talking about were great in the day, but they would not hold peoples attention for more than ten seconds these days. Games have progressed.

I've never heard such a big load of hockey before. By watching you go on and on about game sales for 10 minutes and 5 minutes of stupid bullsh1t I can only conlude you wasted 15 minutes of everyone's time. That's a lot of money there.

Anyway, 3rd party publisher financial statements have been published several times now, and their revenue is higher from PS3 game sales than 360 game sales (because you care about sales). You know how is it possible even though 360 owners supposedly buy more games? Because you think all 360 owners in the world act the same way. AS usual, another american that thinks America is the whole f***ing world and the only thing that matters.

Well, guess what? The Euro is worth a whole lot more than the Dollar right now, and a game sale in Europe is worth a lot more than a game sale in America. Did you know that even though 360 has a supposedly higher attach rate than PS3, 360 has a higher ratio of 1st party to 3rd party game sales than PS3? It's not as bad as Nintendo in that most of the games sold are 1st party, but it's almost 40%. AS for the PS3, it's only 20%. So, if most of the PS3 game sales are 3rd party when compared to 360, and it sells more in Europe, and the sales in europe bring a lot more revenue... well, that speaks loud to 3rd party publishers and that's how they'll make their future decisions.

Criticize all you want Sony and its fanboys, about how their first party games don't sell and whatever, but the thing is, first party PS1 and PS2 games rarely sold as much as overhyped games like Halo, and the reason for that is that PlayStation owners buy their consoles for different reasons (different games and/or features). It's not like in the case of Nintendo fanboys where you'll hear their take "MARIO ZELDA METROID MARIO ZELDA METROID" as gospel or 360 fans buy shooters (especially those funded by Microsoft, including Halo and Gears) more than anything else.

Why do you choose to disregard Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon Sales? How about Banjo Kazooie? Viva Piñata? Lips? They're not multi-million sellers, and who cares? You think Microsoft can't sleep over the fact that not every game sells like Halo? For someone your age (40+?) you sure aren't very wise.

Besides, who the f*** are you to ask anything from PS3 owners, Sony and Guerrilla Games anyway? So suddenly you decide that the "bar" is 6 million in 4 months, 1 million in 24 hours and 3 million in 1 week? LMAO, GTFOH.

It's not like all the exclusivity contracts made by Microsoft were made because fanboys asked Microsoft, Microsoft simply had disposable income that Sony chose to use to fund Blu-ray, PSN, Home, 1st party studios and reliability instead of closing down studios, . I'm late to the party, but I agree to the challenge. I want to see some huge sales numbers as well for Killzone because there's alot of guys that say "yay AAA!!!" and then they run off to play Eye of Judgment or Pixeljunk...it's like why are you rooting for the game when you're not really even supporting it?

As for the N4G rant...I know you've been at N4G a long time dude so you should also know that you're wasting your breath trying to change their mind of what they think at this site. If you were here earlier, you would know how much PS3 owners got killed at the beginning. One game came out every 2-3 months when the system first launched, and when it did it got nitpicked every step of the way. Now that the PS3 is kinda starting to pick itself back up, everyone is trying to put the fire out or beat it back down. I've spend $1000 total for my PS3 and 360 so I'm supporting both dammit. I'm not spending my money to hate on any system.

As for talking about the old days, I started off with the Atari 7800 so I know what you're talking about. There were glitches in old games, but NOW...you even gotta see that a glitch in a PS3 game causes more of a riot than a glitch in a 360 game when it comes to reviews. You've seen reviews...Mass Effect was a "flawed gem" given perfect scores. If Mass Effect was a PS3 exclusive, "the power of teh cell" would've been given a 6.9...almost a 7 but right before they submitted the review the framerate dropped to 59fps. Yes they're opinions and we're supposed to enjoy the game, and it would be nice if someone enjoys a game just as much, but if a game is good and the reviewer goes to another length to drop the game down then it's just messed up.
