Firebreak is Remedy’s answer to the coop bandwagon. It’s also the developer’s first title to launch day-1 on Steam. Unfortunately, it’s a repetitive mess lacking content with bits and pieces recycled from Control. Firebreak features ray-tracing and path-tracing (full ray-tracing), backed by upscaling, frame generation, and multi-frame generation.
Skewed and Reviewed have posted video of the game in action.
Richard Bailey Jr. of The Koalition writes: When I previewed FBC: Firebreak at Summer Game Fest Play Days, I walked away more than impressed with Remedy’s first multiplayer game. Despite only playing through one of the jobs during my session, I admired the emphasis on teamwork and envisioned that this game could be massive for Remedy.
If you suffer from insomnia and your over-the-counter meds no longer do the trick, then sure, feel free to drop $39.99 on FBC Firebreak. Because this game will drain your energy and put you to sleep faster than any pill ever could
