It was a countdown timer to their release date trailer, it makes sense in a bubble, rather innocent really. I just don't think they were anywhere near aware of people's hype and expectations. It was a bit of a tone deaf mismanagement, and honestly i think people are really over reacting

ok maybe they effed up ... maybe there was a last minute change of plans ... happens ... but nothing to review bomb their other game, The Finals.
Both are excellent games. And the community is just over reacting to a minute digital countdown that wasn't even publicly revealed, proper.

That being said, I feel it needed to come out two months before the end of October. With COD and BF likely to drop around that point, I'm worried ARC is going to get lost which would be a shame as the test recently was amazing. It went from not being on my radar to a game I'm actually looking forward to

Fan are becoming like spoiled children unfortunately. If for some reason things don't go their way they lash at at the wrong things. It can have the opposite effect Review bombing can cause some to not buy a game as it is badly reviewed and then the company needs to layoff staff or work with a smaller budget directly affecting their next game which is Arc Raiders
