As a handheld it’s a great system. As a docked console, it’s literally scraping the bottom of the barrel and it only just even achieves that.

Plenty. I go round my friends and we play smash bros on the TV. How else would we play together with only 1 switch?

Agree I prefer docked mode to but I'll play portable when traveling for work one of the biggest selling points for me is basically what was shown in the original switch trailer guy leaves his house playing gets on a plane playing goes to a hotel room still playing

Mobile gaming has always been the biggest seller for Nintendo. They went mobile in 89 this isn't a new thing

It's why the low selling GameCube or Wii U didn't actually hurt them all that much

I wouldn't say an OLED screen is a must, the Switch 2 screens seems to be pretty good, 120Hz, HDR, VRR, it is more than enough.

Seems like a great move by Nintendo. Mine will never leave the dock so I don't need a OLED screen. And before someone asks who plays in dock mode. Well, many of us do who enjoy consoles and not so much handhelds, so I think there are many who see the Switch and Switch 2 as consoles connected to our televisions like consoles.

Obviously there will be an OLED version with a die shrink for better battery life. How else are they going to get people to buy it again.
