Nintendo Switch 2 Box Art Looks Less Appealing Compared To Original, But Size Remains Similar

The box art for Nintendo Switch 2 titles looks less appealing than that of the original's, though the size of game cases remains similar.

Nope not at all. If it mattered I'll buy the games digital. But I'm not it's just a ugly box.

It is the right choice. To stand out from Blue and green. I also hate the cutout on top
but It will also get used to over time. The Metroid 4 box art is fire by the way.

Looks better in my opinion. I hate the extra label bullsh*t covering the art. Put all that sh*t on the back of the box. I remember a time when box art was actually… artistic.

I'm fine with the red plastic, however it's true that the massive red empty strip at the top is so ugly, and the game's artwork doesn't look near as good as a result. Switch 1 box art looked amazing

The one thing I'd like to see is switch 2 games that are compatible on switch 1 getting both logos atop the box. E.g. breath of the wild

If anyone else remembers back in the Gameboy colour days some games had cross computability but you could never tell by looking at it. I remember missing out on I think it was Pokemon gold / silver it would have worked on my Gameboy but didn't know that because the box art was to vauge

yeh the switch 2 label is huge, but its not a big deal at all.
