Nintendo president has been asked to discuss how the company is handling Switch 2 game and hardware prices.
Mario Kart World just came out with another update, version 1.1.2, and Nintendo published the official patch notes.
Asura from NoobFeed writes- Riding the momentum of a decade-long gap between major installments, Mario Kart World attempts to redefine kart racing by merging open-world exploration, high-speed chaos, and competitive endurance into one massive experience. Developed with the power of the new Switch 2 hardware in mind, this isn't merely a sequel. It's a leap into uncharted territory.
TNS: Mario Kart World delivers the best visuals of the series and the chaotic racing fun we all love, but its open-world component falls short.
'For software, in addition to the same factors, the price is decided by considering factors such as increased costs due to increased game capacity and longer development periods.'
Hmm, why not use key cards then if they're good enough for third parties?
“Longer development periods”
LIES!
This would be true if the Switch 2 was a current generation console and outputting graphic fidelity of current gen, but it’s barely better then a PS4.
If they are saying that their games take as long to develop then high end current gen games, then that is a complete lie. Typical PR spin.
Just call it what it is - Greed.
Yea, nothing you said justifies the price hike. Variable pricing already shows you’re “testing” it with popular titles until the sheep give in and you make it the standard you greedy pig.
It's the president of Nintendo's job to lie. What is not said or avoided is the truth.
heres the translation
"the next Zelda, pokemon Mario, Smash, Animal Crossing and other games will be outrageously overpirced, regardless of glitches, how they look, how they play, how outdated they look, how ridiculously bad the voicechat functions"
