Can’t wait to hate this game for the first 5 months and not finishing it, just to play it again from the beginning on a random day and falling in love with it.

Attempted to play 4 times before it drew me in on the 5th and I’m currently trying to finish before 2
I have been slowly working my way through DS for almost 1 year (11 months to be exact). It took me 10 months and 3 weeks to complete 4 chapters; it just wasn't really hooking me the way people had described. But in the last week, I have really enjoyed it and have completed 7 more chapters, completing chapter 11 last night. Can't wait to finish it and get ready for the 2nd game. It has finally clicked and I am loving it. Glad I stuck with it but it wasn't easy to get there haha.

Aren't review embargoes mandatory/necessary for those games which have been hyped up but are coming out in a not so decent state ? I heard DS2 has got excellent feedbacks from those who plaied it behind closed doors ... so why is that ? Even "Kojima Productions is pretty confident in the quality of its upcoming title", so what is the matter? Possible spoilers ?
This is a bizarre take. Review embargoes are commonplace among most games, and early embargoes is usually a sign of confidence that the game will be good, not the other way around.
Giving people such a long time with the game before launch, AND a 3 day lift on the embargo before release day bodes REALLY well for this game.
A Live Event for the highly anticipated sequel has been announced.
I am curious what they have this time around. The prior one did not appeal to me as I got bored of it fast but I know I am a rare exception and there is a large base for it.

I'm just about to Platinum Forza Horizon 5 and I've been playing Blue Prince nearly every day. I'm just hanging to start Death Strranding 2. It's easily my most anticipated game of this generation. I can feel it in my bones

I kind of like it but I do think they could have done a better job. I hope they go all out for the Yotei controller. I am on the fence with this one but I’ll probably get one because I really enjoyed the first game.
