They should try to bring over the XEMU emulator. It's great on PC.

"Technology for emulation" LOOOL

The tech is there, just have to use it. What they need to work out is the licensing of these old games which are usually a huge headache.

Sounds like a waste of time, I can count on one hand how many legacy Xbox games exist.

Please post a picture of your hand. I'm curious what a hand with that many fingers looks like.

So now that Xbox is putting their games on PlayStation, will Sony now be willing to share their blueprint for the PS6 with MS. I remember them saying, something like, if MS were to buy Activision they would not share that info with Activision in fear MS would use that information to then change their plans for their own future console, to make it more powerful than whatever Sony had planned.

On topic: this technology on different modern platforms I guess would also include any PlayStation, but when would Sony reciprocate and start releasing games on Xbox. What games would they release? Current gen or a previous generation to gauge how well they sell.

You kinda answered your own question. Look at how things are going and have BEEN going for Microsoft. Next, look at what they ARE doing now along with the success of doing it. Success is something they didn’t hear often. Lastly look at your last sentence from the first paragraph and the question you pose in the second.
The ONLY way Sony would allow it is? So Microsoft must be?
And why would the leader with much success do what the constantly struggling opponents do? It isn’t trading Pokémon cards if only one person has cards.

It is priced at $49.99. From other articles I read, the game is more linear so probably like Mafia 1 and 2 instead of 3 (full open world). I am guessing around 10-12 hours.

RaidenBlack11h ago

Yep, I feel it'd be even more linear than the first 2

I Already pre- ordered the Deluxe Edition 👍

Too many massive open worlds this is refreshing. Concentrate on a more dynamic smaller area.

ZycoFox4h ago

Open is good, too open where you easily get lost.. nah. Unfortunately even Nintendo has got a taste of open world and want to make huge deserts now, this is why I prefer Mario 3D Land and World, open enough for some exploration and alternate paths but not desolate either.

Gameplay looks fluid. Hope the story is on point.
