WTMG's Leo Faria: "I think this is the best way to sum up KIBORG: a neat premise that just ended up feeling like a mixed bag. For every admittedly interesting aspect, such as its visuals, ultraviolence and combat, there’s something else that brings it down a handful of notches, such as the awful voice acting, difficulty spikes, and bugs. With that being said, considering how flooded and overly saturated the roguelike/lite market is nowadays, KIBORG does manage to stand out, even if by just a little bit. It’s not terrible, it’s also far from being amazing, but it’s certainly not entirely fogettable."
CG writes: KIBORG throws you into a brutal, cybernetic battleground where survival depends on how well you can punch, dodge, and outmaneuver your enemies. Right from the start, the game makes it easy to get into. There’s no overwhelming complexity—just smooth, fast-paced combat that immediately clicks. The fighting mechanics take clear inspiration from Batman’s Arkham series and Spider-Man’s fluid brawling, which means you’re dodging, countering, and unleashing satisfying combo attacks against waves of cyberpunk-styled enemies.
CG writes: KIBORG arena-based fighting combat is pretty decent and looks great in 4K on PC. You rise up the ranks, upgrade your character, beat up all the cyberpunk themed enemies. It has a Mad Max type flavour, and we highly recommend it from what we have played so far. Previously we did play the demo a little bit but wasn’t too impressed. The fact that the full-game shifts along various floors and the aesthetics are really nice is we’ve come away more impressed. The premise is pretty good. It is well put together and we like it for its no-nonsense approach despite being a little on the monotonous side. We’re definitely going to be playing this a bit more and you should too.
