Ahead of Kiborg's release on PC and console, Rogueliker put the prison-based action-roguelite beat 'em up hybrid through its paces.
CG writes: KIBORG arena-based fighting combat is pretty decent and looks great in 4K on PC. You rise up the ranks, upgrade your character, beat up all the cyberpunk themed enemies. It has a Mad Max type flavour, and we highly recommend it from what we have played so far. Previously we did play the demo a little bit but wasn’t too impressed. The fact that the full-game shifts along various floors and the aesthetics are really nice is we’ve come away more impressed. The premise is pretty good. It is well put together and we like it for its no-nonsense approach despite being a little on the monotonous side. We’re definitely going to be playing this a bit more and you should too. Take a look at our Kiborg gameplay video to get a feel for what the game offers.
"KIBORG is a fast-paced, action beat ’em up roguelite. Developed and published by Sobaka Studio, it released on the 30th of April on console and PC. I mentioned in a recent review about how I seem to be finding myself with an abundance of roguelite games to play lately. KIBORG falls into this category too, though in a fairly different format than those previously." Jordan @ Thumb Culture
