TheXboxHub writes: "The Epyx Collection: Handheld on Xbox is no different; you’ll probably find something new to enjoy regardless of the overall quality."
Games Asylum: "Until a few years ago, experiencing Atari Lynx games either involved acquiring original hardware or resorting to emulation. Today, almost half the handheld’s catalogue is available to play legally, albeit in drips and drabs. Atari 50: The Anniversary Collection included a handful of titles – albeit not many synonymous with the system – while the two Evercade Lynx carts offered a decent spread. Additionally, Chip’s Challenge recently gained a standalone Switch release. Now we can add this Epyx collection to that list."
WTMG's Leo Faria: "I’m not going to say that The Epyx Collection: Handheld is an easy recommendation, but it’s a fantastic opportunity for retro gaming enthusiasts to experience a few hidden gems which had previously only been available on a very obscure, but very underrated portable system. You may think this collection is a waste of time because nobody (aside from me and half a dozen other weirdos) owned a Lynx back in the day, but games like Gates of Zendocon and Blue Lightning are still amazing, more than 35 years later. Absolute classics aren’t the only games that deserve a second chance and preservation on modern systems. Obscure titles you had never even heard of before also deserve some love, and this collection delivers on this aspect."

Games Asylum: "A new Atari Lynx collection is coming to Switch, and there isn’t long to wait – it’s due out April 25th for £11.99 ($11.99/€13.99.)"
