"Days Gone: Remastered" Review: I Ride With The Zombies \\ paulsemel

Such a great game. I hope the rumors are true and a sequel will be announced soon. Support and buy this remaster if you want part 2. The writing is so good, it would make a good film/show adaptation. Although, turning it to a show would be quite expensive.

I have played this game to death...not zombie death! I have played through 3 times and just can't get into playing it for upgraded graphics and horde mode. Please make a sequel! On of my all-time favorite games

This game deserved every 6 out of 10 it ever got. I’ve never seen a game overstay its welcome by 10+ hours and still flub the single most important part of the story. Every bit of [A CERTAIN PART OF DAYS GONE’S STORY] felt like a rushed, deeply unsatisfying mess. I ended up uninstalling the game and just watching the endings on YouTube because It left such a bad taste in my mouth.

For the life of me I can't figure out which part you are talking about. Only the beginning on-boarding was ever any kind of problem with its pacing.

When deacon finally saw Sarah again, they had 1 kiss, and it was video game business as usual from then on. Never did they have this big, satisfying moment where they just cried in each others arms or something crazy like that. You just spent 50 hours as a player, mowing through thousands of zombies so that this dude could do the impossible and find his wife. When that finally happens, there is almost no payoff or recognition in that moment. It was just “uh oh! People could be watching, pretend like you don’t know me! And go get me these items!” Are we supposed to believe that a man who’s literally killed thousands of zombies to find this woman, couldn’t figure out a way to have a moment with his wife not centered around gathering ingredients? I honesltly felt so betrayed and it completely ruined the game for me. It’s such a shame because this game had moments that were absolutely MASTERFUL.
