Even if it was released physically you probably still wouldn’t be able to play it without using some form of internet or, the full game would not be on the disk most likely. Physical media is dying and I’d expect more and more games to be strictly digital in the near future.

I’m all for choices but let’s be real here physically media is on its last legs…

I agree with you. Unless you can play the game offline its really not a fully physical disc. It becomes less and less every generation.

You're right and when it completely dies. I'm out to find a new hobby.

It's only on it's last legs because companies are being lazy and manipulating things to get what they want.

It's so gamers end up going "F*** it, I'd rather just download it if that's the case" which is exactly the plan. They then turn around and go "See, digital sales are much higher, this is clearly what gamers want" when in reality it's these companies who have manipulated the entire situation for the outcome they desire.

Nailed it. They are completely manipulating the situation to screw over the consumer. Once they have you all trapped into digital downloads they'll turn off the downloads and say it is streaming only now, they have absolute power to do that. Physical media is the only thing from stopping these greedy corporations from ruining the whole thing.

The technology already exists to produced 1TB discs, so in reality it isn't on its last legs. people need to stop being lazy and supporting physical media as it supports the consumer.

Not buying Microsoft products is actually the best way to get physical media.

If they put the full game on disc I’d buy it day one. I am not buying Indiana Jones because it doesn’t have the full game on disc. If I ever do buy Indy I’ll buy it used in a couple years when it’s really cheap. I have tons of games to play. I would like to play Oblivion again but I also don’t mind waiting as long as it takes.
